GAMES SHELF!

syd's game shelf

i like video games! i would like to show off the games that i personally have a lot of memories attached to, or really like for pretty much any reason. it's just a list for funsies with some explanations about why i like em! :]

as someone who's a firm believer that games should come completed and stop being sold as half-finished, and as someone who finds the joy in having physical copies that don't rely on a cloud system, this can be likened to a game shelf :]

you could check out my twitch.tv page to see me stream some of these games!

also this page is under construction again. sorrey

pokemon mystery dungeon 2

Oh boy, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. The series itself is one of my favorites, but Explorers of Time was my first exposure to it. My first team being a Bulbasaur and a Totodile, but I went on to create a team of an Eevee and Pikachu named Ruby and Pika respectively, and I used to make comics of 'em!. The world of PMD is probably a big reason why I'm a furry and prefer games where you play AS the Pokemon. X'D Without spoiling any of the key parts, it gets shockingly morbid for a Pokemon game! Definitely worth a play.

billy hatcher

Talk about nostalgia! ...and nostalgia blindness! That said, Billy Hatcher is still one of my favorite games. I mean, come on. You run around as a boy in a chicken costume squashing enemies with a giant egg, and you can call to those eggs sometimes and there's little guys who will fuck up anyone you ask them to? That's fun as hell! And the MUSIC. Don't even get me started on the music. I remember loving the title screen music from the get-go, and I still do. It has a lot of SEGA charm to it! I talk about nostalgia blindness because this game can be unfair to control at times... but I don't let it stop me! ...until I do!
